have a 800-228 board here with melted-down audio output chip/socket LM
1877N-9 (where the h*ll did they find THAT thing ??)

anyway, have an old 210 MHZ foreign-use CR-10 (215 MHz) with identical part
#'d board, put it in and it works

BUT..........................the original has a sticker that says '10,500 HZ
on it and the one out of the foreign unit doesn't have a sticker like that

the manual shows SIX versions of that pup

3 k
5 k
8 k
10.5 k
12.5 k
15 k

looks like I've got a 3 k board in there........not good; R-6 is 68 K like
the manual says for a 3 k board

anyone ever try to change these over in the field ?
