[Tech-Assist] Windows OS Question

Hi!!!
 
Can somebody tell me if it is absolutely necessary to load the following components into Windows XP:
1) Microsoft .NET Framework,
2) Microsoft Silverlight,
3) Microsoft SQL Server,
4) Microsoft Virtual PC,
5) Microsoft Visual Basic 2010 Express,
6) Microsoft Visual C++, and
7) Microsoft Visual Studio?
 
If they aren't necessary at all, Can I eliminate them from the PC? How?
