Kevin Smith at Armstrong ((315) 673-1269) will be very helpful. You might
get away with a 20 KHz bump in frequency but I have to warn you that the
Armstrong boxes *really* want to see their intended load or they'll fold
back to next to nothing at the output.

Does anyone have an Armstrong 1000B (1kW AM) manual or know
the correct pinout for 1500 kHz. Trying to get a station
whose SX-5 burned up over the weekend back on the air and
this is what they had.spare at another station in the group.
This box came out of Armstrong set to 1480 so I suspect I gan
get it on 1500 kHz satisfactorily with nothing more than a
restrap of the frequency setting header jumper(s)
