[Tech-Assist] Electrolytic Capacitors in anything

[It's Dave]

My rule of thumb,
if it's electrolytic, replace the caps at 4 YEARS of use.
Some are only rated 1000 hours of service at the temp limit.
This includes the small coupling/decoupling electrolytics, too.
!Watch out!  Sometimes board markings of polarity can be wrong!  Snap a
photo of it before you start and watch out!

Always TRY to get 105C rated or better replacements.
