The MRF 151g is a Motorola 300 watt rf power chip (MOSFET) 
used in the pallets of most of the SS drivers/transmitters 
I've seen.

The 500 watt amps incorporate two of these chips.

The two chips I fried have the MaCom brand on them, not 
Motorola.  RFParts sells them for $115.

BLF278 is the same thing by Phillips, with minor differences.

I have had enough successes over the years to make me think 
I can "do this at home."  P-tek charges $900 flat fee to 
repair the 500 watt amps.  That's a lot of money too, and 
shipping from FL to San Jose is expensive.
