every manufacturer should off you a choice of OS's, even partions that work, 
containing all the past OS's you have ever used.
 
Dell and HP did this for a while, I will drop them an email and see if they 
still offer the service.
 
(remember the "custom" PC, made just for you" campaigns....)  hopefully they 
will come back.
